On our journey with our precious, premature twins we wanted to share the experience and look back at how far we'd come. After one week of bed rest I had a C-section and we became parents of micropreemies. Our son and daughter came home in July 2009, after nearly 4 months in the NICU. With an incredible amount of hope, faith and love we are taking it a day at a time and sometimes half a day at a time. This is our Emma-Lucian.
It is so nice to finally get to see their faces. I am glad you are getting to hold them more. It is important for both you and them. What is their weight up to now? I can't beleive how strong you have been through all of this. I would be a basket case. Their hair looks blond. Is that their hair color or becaiuse they are preemie.Take care. Emma and Lucian are both beautiful -- and looking much stronger. They must take after their mom! I think about you all -- everyday. Mike and I pray for the continued progress of your little angels, and for God to continue to give you and Adam the strength and courage to face all that you have to go through.
